Attorney Andy Ingram
Criminal Defense Attorney Serving Gainesville
A native of Central Florida, Andy Ingram is committed to providing every single one of his clients with top-notch representation. Prior to graduating high school, he earned his associate’s college degree. Then, in just three short years, he graduated with two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Florida. In 2005, he graduated from University of Florida's Levin College of Law and became a licensed attorney that very same year.
Mr. Ingram started his career as a practicing lawyer by working for the Fifth Judicial Circuit as an assistant public defender. While he was there, he handled thousands of felony and misdemeanor cases and gained extensive trial experience. He is especially effective in trying drug, battery, and DUI cases. Throughout his time as a public defender, Mr. Ingram developed an in-depth understanding of the real world difficulties his clients face while fighting criminal charges. This knowledge has pushed him to go even further for his clients, relentlessly fighting for their best interests.
Shortly after his time as a public defender, Mr. Ingram focused his efforts on employment and labor law for many years, representing local businesses, professionals, police officers, and firefighters. This unique experience enabled him to develop his skill set in discovery strategy and motion practice. After spending an extended period of time there, he worked at the Alachua County Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel, combining his experience in civil practice and criminal defense. At this position, Mr. Ingram handled a vast range of civil and criminal cases. He is intimately familiar with both civil and criminal trial practice at the federal and state levels and has extensive federal trial experience.
In order to serve his clients to the best of his abilities, Mr. Ingram prefers to communicate directly with his clients and provide them with personalized legal services. By using this approach, he allows his staff members to focus on office logistics and filing documents, which helps improve his clients’ experience with the firm.
Each and every case differs greatly from the rest, which is why Mr. Ingram is dedicated to giving all of his clients the full effort, time, and attention their cases deserve.
